Do It Yourself | Garlands

Garland + Banners. How can you go wrong? Perfect way to add a particular mood to your photo shoot.

What do I mean by mood? Think about it.

Feminine tea party? Use a soft pastel garland. Vintage wedding? Use a garland of antiqued laces and fabrics. Farm-inspired session? Use a garland made out of colorful hankies. The list goes on.

Love, love, super love garland tutorial on “The Beautiful Mess” blog. So many goodies there, be sure to check them out!

Until next time!

- Skye, xoxo

PS. I’m looking for more great DIY prop ideas to feature on the Reverie Blog + your help would be most appreciated!

    Hi Skye
    I love both your websites!!!
In regard to the DIY photo shoot props I thought I would share a pic with you from a recent maternity shoot. I cut out felt hearts and threaded them on yarn strings to hang from the tree’s. So cheap, so simple and yet, so effective!
